Merc 7.5 leaking fuel

Hi
Have recently bought a 1985 Merc 7.5.
Runs fine, BUT when I squeeze the primer bulb on fuel line and the carb becomes full
fuel spurts out of a hole on the front face of the carb.
There are 3 holes,two look like they are for fitting an air filter but above the right hand hole there is another
small hole.
The gas shoots out of this small hole with some pressure.
Any ideas folks.

Sounds like you?re describing where your low speed mixture screw should be.
