merc 60 6hp twin

i have a merc 60 6hp motor that was left from a friend dont really know year but it has duell points and its not firing could anyone help i would like to get it runing thanks

The model 60 with duel points was marketed in 1962 ( white ) to about 1968 or so .----Very nice running motor.-----Posting serial # gets you the year made.
