Merc 6 Four Stroke Tiller

Looking for thoughts. My Merc 6 hp, four stroke, 2017, has a problem at full throttle on the tiller. When turned to full throttle, the RPM, at the top end varies up and down, so it isn’t always at full throttle. Carb has never been boiled out and am wondering if the problem may be there….especially with ethanol gas…..

If you have let it set for long periods of time with no stabilizer then you probably have fuel issues. If it has been properly maintained then mabey where you buy your fuel !! E10 itself is not a problem, but like anything there are necessary maintenence things that need to be done. Are you holding the throttle at wot or relying on the friction on the handle ?? Check your fuel hose if it is the gray stuff, that stuff has problems after a couple years, should be replaced. Numerous videos and articles about it.
