merc 500 50 hp fuel line

i need to replace the line from the tank to motor do i have to have a special size or does it matter i would like to use a smaller bulb an line from a diff tank is this possible or do i have to buy a new one anyone who can help thnx

I don't believe the size of the primer bulb matters as long as there is no restriction of fuel flow. There are some good quality after market tank to engine fuel line assemblies available. Most of these require you to connect your old fittings to the new hose. That's ok as long as you are certain your old fittings are in good order.<br /><br />Walt
