#1 Can anyone tell me how to pull the front pully/stator/alt assembly from the crank?
#2 Can the pistons be cleaned and reused?
#3 Can I reuse the rockers and pushrods?, and clean and reuse the lifters?
Anyone know or could point direction on where to find details or history on boat?
85 Imperial VC230 cuddy cabin (funny looking transome)
1 Engine serial # B517271, 165hp. Have 170hp in the boat #A634829, presently that's locked up. Also ave C engine for extra parts.
Have alternator converson kit and 4" heat exchanger that came with the boat to solve know issues hope there's no more than that to deal with.(lol)
Just bought boat in hopes to swap out and hit the water for the summer.
Heard good & bad about these engines, tring to stay optomistic, plan to make this one purrr.
