Is this a 4 cylinder or 3 cylinder?<br />Open vent in tank, change fuel filter on engine and in line to engine from tank, carbs could be gunked up from sitting, check fuel pump for output or damaged diaphrams, make sure gas is fresh, oil in the oil tank?, Did you previously run oil tank dry?, ifso run premix for the first tank till oil pump reprimes if you don't have service manual, kink in fuel lines?, certain Mercury fuel lines have a check valve issue that restricts fuel flow. It sounds as though your fuel starved, don't force engie you will fry it from lean runs.
