Merc 35hp with oil pump.

Got a 35 hp Mercury with an oil pump that mixes the oil with the gas in proper ratios I assume. Can I remove the oil pump and just mix the oil and gas or should I try to find a replacement oil pump? I have not been able to locate a pump on this site, if I should replace the pump could someone point me in the right direction. Thanks

That is the old Autoblend unit, disconnect it and go to premix as they are NLA and no updates for them.

Ok since I am a total newb, what is the proper ratio of oil to gasoline for a 35HP motor?

1 pint of oil per 6 gallons of fuel.
