Merc 260 V8 Surging

My engine runs fine until hot, then I can't run above about 2000 RPM's under load. When I do it, it surges(cycles) from 2000 to 2800 or so. Is it most likely a fuel delivery problem or electrical?<br />1984 GM 350- Tuned up about two years ago.<br />Thanks

I would imagine it's Time for a Full,+ Complete Tune-Up..........<br />Along with a Filter Change,..........<br /><br />At Least,... That's where I'd Start............ <br /><br />If that doesn't cure the issue,.... I'd Tear Into that old Rochester Carb,+ Rebuild it......
