Hello all

A "bracket" broke off of the left side of the carb (that would be the left side when you are looking back at the motor halfway across a lake on a very windy day and getting soaked) and the local dealer figures it will be at least a week before he can find the part. Trouble is, I want to go out duck hunting before the lake ices up any more than it has (it causes the ducks to gather).

The part is plastic, about 4 inches long, 1/4" thick, and 1/2" wide (all approx.) and is arched (like a bow). It pins into the bottom left side of the carb - it may attach on top somewhere, but I cannot see where.

I tried to order a manual, but this site will not ship to Canada. I tried finding schematics online, but no luck there either. In the meantime, can anyone tell me which part I am looking for? (name, number, etc.)

Also, is there an online source where I can find a parts schematic?

Oh yeah, I can run WOT, but as soon as I slow down even a bit, it begins to lose power until it eventually dies out. Come to think of it, it slowly dies out anyway after a while running WOT.

Other than this, the merc is excellent.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try going to Mercury's website
http://www.mercurypartsexpress.com
You enter the serial number of your engine and can look up parts #'s etc. You can order thru them but must have a local deal close by to have the parts sent to.
Good luck
Seadogg
