merc 2003 25 hp getting on plane

Hi,<br />I have a 14ft starcraft with a merc 2 stoke 25 hp fishing boat and when i am by my self I have a hard time getting on plane, is there something i can due to the motor <br />(different prop,ect.) I could change to help this out.<br />thanks Joe

is the bow porpoising? (sp) is the cavitation<br />plate on the motor even with bottom of boat?<br />if it helps when you add weight, try to move<br />stuff to the bow.

What si the WOT rpm of the motor. Is it in the specified range (5000-6000). If not, change the prop to get it as close to 6000 as possible. That should help a little!<br /><br />Good luck and keep us posted!
