My current distributor is a points type and I was wondering about upgrading to electronic. I have read the argument of auto vs. marine when it comes to starters and alternators. Does that apply to a distributor as well? Is there anything I can do to make an automotive electronic distributor more applicable to marine application...i.e. a different cap? Do they make a marine electronic distibutor for the old 250 cid?
