Merc 165 I4 vs Merc 470

What are the differences between Merc 165 I4 vs Merc 470? I know one is 165hp and the other is 170hp. I think same block on both. Do they both have the same issues? Is 165 newer than the 470?

Pretty much the same engine with all the same problems......AND it's obsolete.
