we just transported my unlces boat with a 2001 merc 125 on it. He lived in a area of about 4500-5000 feet of elevation. Here we are at around 0-100. The engine runs ok, but is really touchy, and you cant go slow, also when cornering, it seems to loose power. What do we have to change in the carb to make it work better, and how. We are able to do it ourselves, built many car engines, just never a boat.

Thanks

Maby a carbuator jet change, but if still under warranty, may need dealer to do work.
