Merc 120XR Sports Jet.

I am working on a friends 1998 Rinker Rocket Fitted with a 1998 120XR Sports Jet. Now it will not start. It is electrical as we have no spark at the plugs. Should there be a constant live to the coils?<br />Has anybody got any ideas? <br /><br />Help Needed!

no constant live to the coils. its a CDI type ign.<br /> check the emergency stop switch. what were the original problems and repairs?

We had problems with the bilge pump switch and the blower switch. The stereo had stopped working so we put in a new one.

have you double checked that the emergency stop switch is set to the run position ?
