i need proper cooling system routing for this eng. also if someone has a wiring schematic for the eng. on the water pump impeller rotation should they sweep to the rear of clockwise rotation or should they face to the front of rotation, i am not getting water to the eng, also where does the hose for the wep hole connect on the block.

The water pump veins should sweep behind the rotation. The tattle tale hole should connect to the lower part of the head I believe. I don't have mine at the house so I can't go look.

Craig

One more thing. Your motor is a 150hp not a 115. At the prop you are getting about 130 - 135hp.

Correct about a 1350 being a 135hp (About 121.5hp at the prop). If t/stat means thermostat? You motor doesn't have one. Thermostats were not used until the mid to late 80's. If you look, some outboards continue to pump water after the motor is shut down, those are the motors that have thermostats.

I sure hope this helps.

Craig
