I just bought this boat last week and have experiencing mechanical issues. Initially it started with some work with the choke and primer, currently (this morning at 6) I tried starting with a full charge and it turned over. I pumped the ball but did not turn up the idle. Ended up chugging off. After that it did not fire back up. Cranked it for about 30 min on and off but would not turn over. I played with the choke and pumped the primer but no luck. Bought sparkplugs and file filter but having it start and run a couple times not sure if that is the right fix.

Continuous cranking quickly destroys these starter motors.--------I would start with an disassembly of the starter and an inspection ( ohm check ) of the armature.----Do NOT rush out and buy a new one untill you test the one you have.------Slow cranking means no spark and no start.
