Have a 03 merc 115 4 stroke. Yesterday after a full day of tubing took if for a cruise before taking it out of the water. Maid it about 200yds and it sputtered and died. This happened one other time about 3wks ago, that time it just sputtered but didn't die. Got it home and I pumped up the primer bulb and it fired up. I never mess with the bulb as its' EFI so always fires right up. The bulb was in rough shape so I put a new one this morning and took it out and ran it for about 15 minutes, basically wot the whole time. Ran great. I definitly know the bulb needed replacing but wondering what else I should check, did look at the VST filter and the red disc is on the bottom where it's suppoed to be. I plan on getting new fuel filters at the end of the season, and vst cleaned and I always run stabil. I'm taking it out today so hopefully it runs good. Any info appreciated.
