Hello,
First off I would like to say that this is a great forum, I have learned alot by reading on here already.
My question is, I have an old inline 6 cylinder 100 hp mercury motor, I believe it is 1963, the serial number starts with 155, the rest is worn away.
I am wondering what spark plugs I should be using and the proper gap for those plugs? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
Jeff

Re: merc 100 hp spark plug question

i'd have to wonder out to the shop to get the #s, BUT, Champion makes a surface gap plug(no ground strap, just an eletrode), that is in all of the old parts motors of the "tower of power" vintage that i have....
