My brother Tim, daughter Kate, son-in-law Aaron and I will be spending Memorial weekend on Forth Debsconeag Lake, north of Moosehead Lake in Maine. Very remote, fishing good, creature comforts, hopefully great weather

Since I live in a big boating community, I usually avoid the boat alltogether. The local sandbar hangout will be packed, like spring break for older adults. It is crazy out there. I've turned into a fair weather boater. :facepalm:
Well hello to all of my fellow boaters and fisherpeople!<----don't wanna be sexist! My gf, Brother and his girl will be spending the 3 day weekend @ our favorite place as usual! Howard Prairie lake in Southern Oregon. It's in the top 10 fisheries in the state here! I'll see if I can get there website posted so you all can see if you wish! Happy Boating/Fishing or whatever you do on the water!
Will drop the boat in the Merrimack River at the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean. One day we will head south along Plum Island into Essex Bay and conditions permitting around Rockport and into Gloucester Harbor. The other trip will be heading north up to Hampton Beach and along the coast up to Portsmouth NH and maybe into the Piscataqua River or possibly up to Brave Boat Harbor north of Kittery ME.
If the conditions are bad for my small boat instead of heading out in the Atlantic we will head up the Merrimack River inland.
Saturday: Checking everything on the boat. Loading up the items I realized that I forgot to put in the boat on my first trip out this year.
Sunday: Mark Twain Lake in Northeastern Missouri to meet up with a bunch of other Regal owners from the area for a big raft-up.
Monday: Carlyle Lake in Southeastern Illinois.

I'm with this guy. The two times I will NOT go out are Memorial Day weekend and any day during the week of 4th of July. That's when all the crazies are out on the water.
Heading out to a county campground right on good ol' Lake Lanier. Camping tonight and tomorrow night. Tomorrow morning at the crack o' dawn I am going out on my first guided fishing trip. Very excited to finally boat some bass, even if its not from my boat.
I'll put the lift down after church today (Sunday) and make sure she's happy because tomorrow (Memorial Day) I've got a 3 year old and a 4 year old that just got new fishing rods! There'll be some serious fishing taking place around these parts.
