Re: MEMORIAL WEEKEND 2003 - Where did you go?
Okay, like I said Lake Mohave. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! Screw that place! I launched my boat and camped overnight at Cottonwood Cove Nevada. The weather was nice during the day, then at night it was about 85 degrees. So you sat there in your tent sweating like a pig, not being able to sleep. THEN, right when the sun rises, which is about 5:30am, its already 100+ degrees. SCREW THAT!

As for the lake, nice clean water, but give it a 5 mile an hour wind, then the whole lake becomes an ocean and you cant water ski or wakeboard, so you just sit at your day camp all freakin' day with nothing to do. There weren't any other boats out there either, it was all because of winds. TOO MANY WINDS!!!

BUGS: Flying cockroaches!!! Sound nice? Well Cottonwood Cove has every single kind of flying insect known to man, even flying cockroaches. Yes, one landed on my head, then crawled around on my shoulder. I almost threw up. So keep your bags of potato chips sealed at all times.

So if you like any of the things I just mentioned, then go to Cottonwood Cove - Lake Mohave, Nevada.
