May-Craft 20' anyone familiar with this maker?

I am looking for a center console fishing boat, to be used primarly for inshore fishing, but would like to be able to go 20-30 miles off shore in nice weather. I will need to trailer this boat. First question: What is the minimum hull length I should consider (assuming a deep v style hull)? Second question: I am looking at a 2001 May-Craft 20' boat with a 2000 Yamaha 200 Salt Water Series, in very well maintained condition and approx. 200 hours on the motor. What do ya think? Anyone familiar with Mayfair (manufactured by Collins, Inc. out of Smithfield NC) Any feedback would be appreciated. Also any opinions on a decent price for this rig?
