Maximum transom outboard weight for a 1994 14' Lund Laker?

I know its maximum hp is 35, but thats probably for an older 2 stroke. I need to get a new motor and 4 strokes are heavier. I don't know how much weight the transom can handle.

I'd recommend looking up the weights of 1994 2-stroke 35hp outboards and use that as a guide. That's what I've done with my boats.

Mid 80's to mid 90's Mercury 35 hp long shaft motors were 145-148 pounds.

They have really reduced the weight of the new 25-30 hp motors in the last few years.
A new 30 hp will be 140 pounds.
30 hp with tilt and trim will be 160 pounds.
