max rpm

I have a 1992 85 yamaha with a 18 pitch prop. It's on a 17' aluma weld boat. I'm trying to find out whats the max rpm's for this motor.

hello<br /> someplace about 4500-5500 rpm is the operating range. yamaha recommends proping to the high side.<br /> good luck and keep posting
