Max capacity

This is probably a stupid question, but when it says max capacity 7, would kids be counted in that or do you count 2 kids as one adult? We have 8 wanting to go out on our Bayliner 175, but 3 of them are under 100 lbs. There's enough seating, but I didn't know about the weight. We're not bringing anything else with us, just people and their PFD'S, so there won't be additional weight on top of that.

7 is 7. try it if you want, but don't fuss if you get stopped. be nice, and maybe you just get a stern talking to. you also have a max weight, than includes everything, including gas and motor.

It is all about the weight and available seating. If everyone added up doesn't exceed the weight and they have a place to sit then you should be good but you could get stopped by the coast guard.

I didn't think about the gas and motor, guess someone is staying home, I'm a newbie so I didn't know and don't want to do anything wrong. I figure we're at 100 lbs over weight approximately, so I just won't chance it. No big deal. Thanks guys!

The data-plate on the Bayliner 175 already takes that into account. You are allowed 900lbs of people and equipment.
