I have an opportunity for employment on Martha's Vineyard this summer, and would love to take my boat. She is a small cruiser; 26' Winner Express. But information on Marina's has not been very productive. Can anyone recommend one or two. I know the cost is a bit more than I am use too, and one I check with said the cost for a 6 month stay would be $12,600.00 This can't be right, can it!

I could like aboard, she is comfortable and well equipped, but I would rather be pierside than on a moore.

Any suggestions

Your trying to get a dock at the most costly place on the planet

3 to 5 dollars a foot per night is about as cheep as it gets which is about 2800 per month on my 20ft for short term

It cost me 20 bucks just to dock for lunch in Sag Harbor BUT at least they stil dont charge a docking fee when i buy gas

What? They charge to dock (at the long pier I assume) ? ? ? ?

I thought that was free. I pulled up in my little 14 foot runabout and they waved me into a slip and hopped out, free of charge. We gave the kids to my parents who were waiting, then we left. no charge. No mention of charge. That was the weekend BEFORE the 4 th of July. Maybe they let me off free because I aways pull up and wave at the people on the warf and honk the funny sounding boat horn before heading to the ramp to pull out. Who knows.

BTW if you are in Sag Harbor, NY, check out the American Beauty boat trip for about $8 a head. It really is a nice ride. The owner replace the old boat with a new 30 or so foot sight seeing cruiser to go on a nice 45 or 1 hr ride.
