Mariner ..what year

I just bought a 90's mariner....(after throwing a rod through the side of my 82)... Can anyone help me with the year...I tried look at the links in the other post and couldnt find anything

First off, "MidLifeBoat..." I'm right there with ya!

Second of all, that was a good one. Took me a while to narrow this one down. According to the information I found, that serial number falls in the range 689-420355 through 689-423270. Those numbers are listed as 1989 year models. Here is a link to some technical info, exploded views, and parts diagrams for your motor. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the help ...it was a hard one to find for sure ...I thinkI got a great deal on it

still trying to figure out the oil injection system ...but I thihnk I will just mix my gas and oil
