Mariner Warning Module

I removed the oil injection system from my 86 200 Mariner. I need to know how to remove or disconnect the oil pump sensor. If A understod the manual right it is the purple wire who is the power wire. What will I do with the green wire who is conneted to the outer switch box?. The manual doesn´t show that wire from switch boxes. What is it good for? Happy for any answer.

When you removed the injection system, did you remove pump shaft and replace with plug kit from Merc. You should be able to remove the warming module and all module wire connections from engine. Then verify that engine temp sensors are connected to warning horn.
