I have a 1994 Trpphy that came with a 150 Mariner. The motor is trashed. I put a 1986 Merc 150 on it and wondered if there was an adapter to connect the harnesses or if I need to hard wire it.
go to mercurypartsexpress.com accessories. or call a dealer. there is one for older controllers to new engines, may be cheaper to by the right controler & harness. i know it's almost equal on johnny/rudes
