mariner PTT broken manual relase valve....replaceable??

i got a 89 mariner PTT of ebay thats replacing my old worn out one on my 1990. my motor is a merc howerver. anyway, the guy i bought it from it looks like someone sawed the bolt head right off. i had a shop remove it and he said there was still some pressure there when he removed it. ive seen parts online available for the valve kit. just wanted to make sure its repairable. thanks

the motor is a 1990 merc 135 black max. the donor PTT came off a 1989 mariner 150. i cant recall what the serial number of my motor is but i know its a 90. OC29xxxx something. i do have the mercury FSM but i doesnt mention anything about replacements. i did see the part online....heres a link
