Have a Mariner Outboard Motor (15 hp). Trying to determine what year it is (was told it is a 96). Is there anyway to tell by the serial number. It is OD247134. How do you tell if it is a long shaft or short shaft? Does anyone have any idea what one of these would be worth. It has an elec. start. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me. Thanks.
