I'm replacing all seal and gasket in my lower unit, I'm waiting on parts to arrive,
I have removed the outer seal from the exhaust housing ( not sure if that the proper name for it,)
I have removed the outer seal with my seal removal tool, it was tight due to oxidation, my question is how to remove the inner seal, it looks like it's sitting on or near the needle bearing, and I think I'll do more damage than good, trying to pull it out, is there a safe way to do it with scaring the surface? the seals were not leaking before, I'm thinking of leaving it.
