Hi guys,
I'm thinking of buying a baot with a Mariner 90HP 4Stroke fitted. I was wondering what your opinion on the engines are? Are they reliable? Any known issues? Fuel consumption etc.

If you have anything to add, please feel free!

Here is a picture of the engine in question (Not sure what year it is... forgot to ask!) => http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/images/pics/RFT054_3.jpg?r=9162

Looks like a newer model outboard. From what I understand Mariner is now the UK version of the Mercury. The 4 strokes are fuel-efficient and generally quiet. I like my US Mariner.
