need some advice please when i turn my key to start outboard just get a clicking noise from the solinoid starter motor is fine what test can i do on the solinoid thanks

Sounds daft, but I know my battery died once, and it sounded exactly like that. Is the battery and power outlets in good shape?

Dito sounds like low voltage I would use a volt meter and check battery voltage when you try and start. if it drops it's drops even a few volts and nothing happens it's the battery, if nothing start looking for bad connections.

same thing happened to my 1992 Mariner 60hp a couple years ago. battery was ok. a liberal spray of WD-40 into the top of the starter did the trick.
