Mariner 25 HP 1981

I have a 1981 Mariner 25 HP (Japanese made) and would like to know how to disconect the shift linkage in order to remove lower unit Thanks....Heath

Welcome to the best board going.<br /><br />If you are going to do any of your own maintenance you will save yourself a lot of pain and agony by buying a manual.<br /><br />I don't have a Mariner manual so I can't help you with the linkage, but someone who can will be along shortly.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
