Mariner 20 HP 653 S 07920 not sure of the year

The engine starts well. the engine will run up to full RPM and then it will break down to one cylinder. Plugs look good and I suspect a coil breaking down. May need to order one so if someone can check your sources for a year I would appreciate it very much. I also will test the needle seat.
