Hi guys, I have recently picked up a pontoon with the 115hp Mariner 4 cylinder. serial is 0d165149. The boat is a 93 and the motor looks to be the only thing ever mounted on it.
I have been through water pump and carbs already, I have a fuel pump kit coming. I see there is an accelerator pump also, but no rebuild kit that I can locate. Is there one? Is there even a reason to mess with it? Once those have been gone through can someone point me to the procedure to get everything set correctly? I see this is a 2+2 motor and from what I found in a short search so far is they are prone to poor idle and getting that transition to full function is difficult.
My motor actually idles pretty good at the moment but has some stumbles and roughness as you power up. I want to get things running properly so that I can make sure it is propped correctly.
