Moved this to a new topic for ya, Nedley. A 12 year old thread is a little old to be posting in.

More detail please - No noises or clicking or limited movement. Anything helps.

Notting moves, when I trim up or down I hear the breakers on the right side of the engine clicking.

No Title

build date stamped here (picture).. kinda behind tha "bend" in tha timin' advance arm at tha base of number two cylinder on tha block half.. will be 1/8" numbers..M/D/YR.. might be kinda hard ta see but they are there never tha less....

if tha solenoids are clickin' with tha trim buttons......
trim motor has three wires.. one is a solid black ground.. make sure it has a good connection.. you have two solenoids. each will have a heavy black wire, one with blue markings (usually looks like tape), one will have green markings.. these are terminated on one of tha large post of each sol. other large post on each should have a large red wire. tha large red is a constant + or "hot" from tha battery fed from tha battery post on tha starter sol.. ... take tha marked black (of either sol.) and touch it to tha red... do both blue and green... if tha trim motor runs then tha sol. is probably bad... if tha motor doesn't run then its tha motor....
