hi folks,
i've been searching the FAQ's as I am sure this is a common problem. I did not find anything specific to this querybut apologies if it has been queried several times before. Here goes...
I have a pull start 15 HP 2 stroke Mariner OB. I have changed the plugs and renewed the fuel, mixed at 50:1. Now when I try to start her, if the day is warm, I prime her and she will often fire first time and bingo - no further problems she will run grand. However if she does not fire on the first pull, its as if I have flooded her- repeated pulling won't do anything and I simply have to leave her sit for 10 minutes and try again then. She may or may not fire second time around. If not I have to back off for another spell.
I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I can improve this situation. Engine is great once she is going and a joy to use.
Thanks in advance.
