Hi all,
I have a 2002 Mariner 125 outboard which has keeps stalling approx 3 mins after starting up. The only solution is to keep pumping the primer bulb (which goes nice and soft pre stalling). It sounds like its stalling due to poor fuel supply. The same thing happens under load (if i ever get it that far!)
So far I have tried:
1. Changing primer bulb/ fuel tanks
2. Checked the lines for air leaks
3. Changed the fuel pump diaphragm
4. Changed the "plungers" in the carbs (I'm afraid I don't know what they are, but a mechanic helped me out with that one)
Any further suggestions as to what the cause could be?
Many thanks,
Ollie
