Mariner 115 hp 1997 Serial ?

Where can i find the serial number on this 115 Mariner 1997. I need to know the length of the transom mid section.

the sticker should be on the transom bracket or a brass plug in the block.my 115 had neither one and we had to guess.

Looking at this pic, can someone tell if its a short or a long shaft?

Looks like a longshaft but picture is pretty fuzzy when blown up.
