Those solenoids rarely need replacing if ever on a 40 HP.----Also used on a 235 HP V-6 model.-----Yes they are a quality unit !

Try adding Ducati in front of anything
Ducati oil filter $90nz.....2cv Citroen from parts warehouse $21nz
Oil pressure sender Ducati $138 .... Volkwagen Sirroco ..same parts warehouse $17 ( I had to change the terminal on the wire from bullet to 6.3mm spade )
The Ducati filter was a Fram ....which are crap ...(but it had Ducati printed on it) , parts warehouse was Ryco which are not .
Oh yeah ...the cam belts Ducati $229 pair ebay $132 pair ...both are Gates kevlar
