Marine Lubricant for water pump O-rings

I am about to change the water pump innards on a 40 hp Merc, 1994 4 cyl. The manual calls for "2-4-C marine lubricant part no. 92-90018A12" to coat the o-rings, etc. Is there a suitable substitute that can be had more readily, like from West Marine, or a hardware store?

Not really the same thing, but sure would work.
