I just bought my first boat the middle of last year an decided to browse around for a dock for this year. BUT, All the marina's around doesn't update their website or Facebook much, should that be something I need to be concerned about or should I just pick one an hope for the best. What should I look for?

Welcome to iboats!

My best suggestion on "What should I look for?" would be a telephone and start calling around. Websites and Facebook do not necessarily get updated and I consider that a plus because they are keeping overhead down and concentrating on their customers.

Yep, this is the time to use the telephone !!

Ask around for local opinions. Visit marinas. Call marinas. Check out prices, space availability, and available and included services. All marinas around me have a waiting list. Ask fellow boaters for recommendations, ask about their marinas, how they like them, good and not so good points. Happy hunting!

Agree, and also find FB page on the body of water where you boat. The locals will tell you the low down about the different marina's
