check you number can't find 15702, it points toward a 1977 15hp

Two people have verified the number quoted was the correct serial number. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can find it here. You would need the model number, not serial number, to place the year.....

There's an 18702 that is a 1967 18 HP Rude...

'67 15hp WorkTwin (Johnson Workhorse) used commercially and at resorts. Not sold in the US at that time I think. It's like an old 19.94 CID Fastwin (before '57) but with updated bearings, etc.

Canadian serial number.
