Hi, Anybody know where there is a good source of repair manuals. Either old OEM or after market manuals that cover specific motors. I have three old outboards that were given to me by my father and i would really like to repair/restore them before he passes on.

Re: manuals

You didn't give much info other than OB, no mfg so here you go....

First check local library around you:
http://spica.mclinc.org/polpac/html_client/

Chilton's On-Line
http://www.chiltonsonline.com/

Brough's Books
http://www.dropbears.com/b/broughsbooks/outboard_motors.htm

MasterTech site:
http://www.maxrules.com/fixbooks.html

I always suggest library first because why buy a manual that doesn't end up having the info that you are looking for in the first place.

Also, JB... I think has some sources for manuals but this will give you a start.

fone_man

Re: manuals

Howdy Lyfizzfine. Library. I have picked up some great old manuals at garage sales and flea markets, but those are winfalls. You would never find them if you went looking for them.

Red sky at night. . . .
JB
