manual trim release on Merc 60hp

Can anyone tell me where the manual (screw I think) release is usually located for the trim/tilt? I'm trying to add fluid and need the motor to be in the up position (again, I think). Actually if anyone has any simple instructions on this procedure it'd be appreciated. I can hear the trim motor working but the motor does not lift.<br />thanks,
