Manual may be wrong?????

I have an ignition problem with my 1997Suzuki DT25C. The ignition coils ohm fine. The primary stator ohms at 0.420 k ohm (book says 170-250 ohm). the three timing pick up coils 0.214-0.216 k ohm (book says170-250 ohm) and the gear counter coil 0.230 k ohm ( book says 160-240 ohm). Wouldn't think all these would ohm bad at exact same time.. could b very wrong but wonder if it ain't a typo..

Have you tried another meter. And you're using the wrong scale.

0.42 K OHMs is 420 OHMs, high if it should be 170-250 OHMs. The timing pickups and gear counter are in range.

Ur correct.. looked and I can nol get the coil.. I'm having it rewound to specs. Hope it fixed my problems

Think the kohms vs ohms is your issue I think.
Remwber they will test different at different temps too.
