manifold bolts 97 volvo 5.7 gl plkr

97 volvo penta 5.7 gl plkr 8 short bolts and 4 long bolts???? I did the unforgiveable. Where do the long bolts go? Which direction Do you install the blanked off water jackets on the intake gASKET?

figured out the gasket, but still need answers on th bots?

The longer bolts are used on brackets attached to the intake.
