<br /><br />The woman police officer got rather a surprise to have been driving along the road one minute and the next minute she found she had a passenger: he crashed through the windscreen and ended up lying upside down in the passenger seat.<br /><br />The police officer was shocked but unhurt: the pedestrian appeared okay and tried to get off the gurney as I walked in with his xrays: it was at that point that he realised what I already knew: he had fractured his pelvis
