Man...the Sears Parts Drawings Suk. Please help

1973 Ted Williams 7.5 HP. Model # 217.59490

I want to take the crank out to media blast the engine block. It looks like the crank is sitting in ball type bearing and it should just fall out. But I tugged and tugged. What do I gotta do?

I would use my dead blow hammer only on the end of the crank....usally they fall out
